DR GAVIN TSENG

Dr Gavin Tseng graduated with MBBS (university of Queensland, Australia) in 1995 and obtained higher qualifications of Fellowship of Royal college of Radiology (FRCR) 2001, fellowship in academy of medicine Singapore( FAMS) Radiology in 2003 and fellowship of Royal Australasian and New Zealand college of Radiology (FRANZCR) in 2009.

He was formerly a radiologist with Singapore General Hospital and held the position of Deputy Director of Advance Imaging Centre. He was also clinical teacher in SGH and was involved as an investigator in many imaging projects. He has contributed to both undergraduate and postgraduate medical education in the specialty of radiology. He was also a cardiac CT instructor for College of Radiologist in Singapore.

Dr Tseng also held the position of Director of Advance Imaging Centre at Raffles Hospital, a position he has held for the past 4 years before joining Gleneagles Hospital.

Apart from general and diagnotic and interventional radiology, Dr Tseng's current expertise and interest include Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), musculoskeletal imaging, musculosleltal intervention and spinal intervention.

Dr Tseng has published several clinical research papers. His clinical and research involves musculoskeletal imaging, magnetic resonance imaging of the liver and coronary imaging. Dr Tseng won 1st prize at the Singapore Radiologist Society Annual Scientific Meeting for their research into non-invasive coronary imaging using the latest multi slice CT scanner
